Chris joined the AmeriDry team in January 2014 as an Insurance and Commercial specialist on the Marketing team, bringing 23 years of Sales, Operations and Consulting Management experience in several different industries. Included in his professional career were impressive stints with "Top 100" companies such as Wegmans Food Markets in upstate New York and Daymon Worldwide, out of Stamford Connecticut, where he was groomed to bring a "Best in Class" atmosphere and work ethic, through extensive training and continuous improvement management concepts. As Chris' career blossomed, so did his family's desire to move south, so they could get out of the heavy snows and cold weather of upstate New York. The big move created new opportunities in the Automotive Industry, where he took on the role of Sales and Operations Manager at Guardian Auto Glass. Using his past key learnings, Chris was able to operate a highly successful shop located in Ft Myers, Fl, before receiving his call from AmeriDry, where his current marketing areacovers Port Charlotte, Fl south to Marco Island, Fl.
Meet Our Management Team
A Connecticut native, Jennifer LaFlamme moved to Southwest Florida in 2002 with her husband to start an automotive painting and restoration company. Jen honed her administrative skills by handling the finances and day to day operations of the family business. With the success of this business venture came the desire for more challenges, and by 2010 Jennifer set out to partner with a dynamic company that could help her achieve her professional goals. It wouldn’t be long before Jennifer would find her way to AmeriDry to utilize her administrative experience as the office manager.
Ken Laymon came to AmeriDry in 2010 with extensive background in sales and marketing management. Prior to entering the restoration field, Ken spent 11 years developing his skills with one of Southwest Florida's largest Motorola communication dealers, where he received numerous awards for outstanding sales performance. Desiring to have more time for family and building relationships within the community, Ken stepped out of the competitive world of wireless communications to establish a career with AmeriDry.
Scott Sefcik moved to Florida from Massachusetts in 2004 with his wife of 12 years and two daughters. He started in the maintenance industry but quickly partnered with a premier international builder to embark on a career in new home construction. Scott quickly developed into a project superintendent and eventually into project manager, responsible for building entire developments from the ground up. Here, Scott cultivated his abilities in the area of leadership, time management and prioritizing. In the high pressure world of new home construction, Scott also learned the importance of accommodating deadlines - a skill set that would definitely come into play later in his career.
In November of 2004, Sean Lalonde moved to Florida from Ontario, Canada with his wife and daughter. Already a successful restaurant manager of ten years, he decided to take advantage of Southwest Florida's healthy construction market by taking up remodeling as a specialty trim carpenter. Sean was trained by an elder craftsman of the trade and became a natural at performing remodeling jobs in some of Naples' finest condominiums.
