What you can expect during the clean-up process for water damage:
Step 1:
Once you make a call to AmeriDry a technician will be immediately dispatched. Once your technician arrives on site the first thing he will do is assess exactly what is damaged. Using precision equipment, he will be able to determine how far the water has traveled.
Step 2:
Your technician will explain to you at this step exactly what we will do to properly restore your property back to a pre-loss condition. It may include some or all of the following.
- Remove baseboard, carpet pad, toe kicks, etc.
- Furniture blocks will be used in carpeted areas.
At this time the technician will acquire authorization from you the homeowner to begin the restoration process.
You will be asked to provide your insurance information so we can begin working directly with your insurance company.
Step 3:
The clean-up process is usually already underway by now. After authorization your technician will waste no time in setting up equipment and beginning the restoration process.
Also, your technician will document the water damage area through photos and take note of all damaged areas.
As the clean-up process progresses, daily monitoring will be done at your convenience.
Any loose debris from demolition such as baseboards, carpet pad, toe kicks, and any loose drywall will be removed for you. Our technician will also make sure the work area is left clean.
Step 4:
You will be kept informed throughout the process.
Our construction manager will work with you to help you with all your rebuild needs.
In the event mold is discovered or has developed as a result of your water issue, you will be informed of the steps necessary to remediate the mold issue safely.
Equipment will be removed after all work is completed and the water issue has been resolved. Once your property is completely dry then the rebuild process may begin.
What to expect during the clean-up process after WATER DAMAGE:
You will be assigned a direct contact person to assist you throughout your restoration process to answer any additional questions you may have.
